Founded by Niki Koss in 2021, K Factor Films already has an impressive slate of projects, led by a plethora of award winning female filmmakers on the rise.
Niki Koss started her career as an actress in films like the Terence Malick produced, Red Wing, opposite Glen Powell, Paramount's, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and many more. When she landed her series regular role opposite Bella Thorne in Freeform's Famous In Love, created by Pretty Little Liars showrunner, Marlene King, she began shadowing as much as she could and inundating herself with behind the camera knowledge. Niki quickly became enthralled with directing and embarked on a long journey of producing and directing everything and anything she could get her hands on. She began with shorts, webseries, pilots and music videos, all which won numerous awards, and then moved onto features. Koss has produced three feature films and directed four, all of which were either network financed or independent films which received worldwide and theatrical distribution. Her more recent documentary feature film, Homeschooled, is currently going through the festival circuit and has already won several awards. Niki was also winner of the FEMALE FILMMAKER OF THE YEAR at BIFF. She is a member of Women in Media, Women in Film and the Alliance of Women Directors as well as a SUNDANCE COLLAB DIRECTING FELLOWSHIP and WOMEN IN FILM PRODUCING MENTORSHIP PROGRAM alumna. During the strike, Niki directed THREE COMMERCIALS FOR SEPHORA. Koss was included in the FORBES 30 UNDER 30 in Entertainment list as well as LA WEEKLY as one of their TOP 10 Game Changing Innovators in Entertainment.
Ryan Delaney is a film producer based in Los Angeles, California. His most recent films include CORSICANA, directed by Isaiah Washington, and NIGHT NIGHT, directed by Niki Koss. Ryan wears many hats in addition to producing, such as acting and modeling. After a prosperous modeling career that eventually won him 2018 Male International Supermodel, Ryan decided to try his hand at acting. He spent many years studying at the University of Performing Arts of Miami before he landed roles in USA's GRACELAND and the world-renowned, HUNGER GAMES. Ryan is currently working as a producer and creative executive for K Factor Films, taking the lead on several projects that are slated for a 2021 release.
Los Angeles based filmmaker Samantha Baugnon was born and raised in Austin, TX, and studied acting at the prestigious Paramount Theatre. She took on the film industry as an actress, contributing to projects like Big Little Lies (2017) and the Oscar-Nominated film The Greatest Showman (2017). Before long, she was ready to branch out and take on producing. She worked with writer/director Niki Koss on multiple projects, including Night Night (2021), her first feature producer credit. In 2021 Samantha joined Koss at her production company, K Factor Films. Since joining the team, she has worked on various award-winning music videos, short films, and Homeschooled (2024), a feature-length documentary on the intriguing world of homeschooling. Samantha’s films have been featured at major film festivals in the U.S., Spain, France, and Italy. Prepared to conquer another phase of entertainment, she recently co-wrote her first film and is preparing to sell the project.
Cheryl Bauder is a screenwriter who found her way to film through a love and knowledge of comedy and storytelling. She studied English Literature at California State University, Long Beach where she first entered the writers’ room of ONBOARD, a late night talk show, and LONG BEACH SKETCH, a comedy sketch show. When she graduated, she created and co-hosted the podcast PLEASE LEAVE BY 9 while working as a Writer and Executive Assistant at Moviebill. She is now Executive Assistant to K Factor Films founder, Niki Koss, and has recently worked as Script Supervisor on SOBRIETY.
